3 | Planning & Approvals
If you already have approved plans, you can skip ahead to Step 4. Otherwise, we’ll help navigate the planning and approval process to keep your project on track.
Bishop & Hart can connect you with architects, town planners, and engineers to ensure your project meets all requirements. Already working with a designer? No problem—we’ll collaborate with your chosen professionals to streamline approvals and align the design with your budget and construction needs.


4 | Estimates & Quotes
Once your plans are finalised, we’ll prepare a detailed cost estimate that outlines exactly where every dollar is allocated. This transparency gives you complete clarity over your investment and available cost-saving opportunities.
We understand that budgets can shift, so we work closely with you to refine the quote 2-3 times if needed, ensuring the perfect balance between cost and quality.
5 | Contract
With the final price and schedule set, we’ll present you with a building contract that suits your project. There are various contract types available, and we’ll walk you through the options to find the best fit for you.
Once everything is agreed upon and signed, it’s time to prepare for construction!


6 | Construction Begins
With contracts in place, your project moves into the build phase. Every project is assigned a dedicated project manager, who will oversee construction and keep you updated throughout the process.
We maintain a high level of communication and ensure the build is progressing on time and within budget, with regular check-ins to keep everything running smoothly.
7 | Practical Completion
This stage marks the near completion of your project—with only minor touch-ups or adjustments remaining. Our project manager will conduct a site walk-through with you to inspect the work and note any final details that need attention.
Once these minor issues are addressed, the project moves to its final stage.


8 | Handover & Final Completion
Your project is now complete! At handover, you’ll receive a comprehensive package with all essential documentation.
From here, you can step into your newly built, extended, or renovated space with confidence, knowing that your project has been delivered to the highest standard.
