Commercial Office Upgrade

PCENG experienced rapid growth over five years with an influx of new staff. The staff were occupying a mixed-use commercial building that was almost 60 years old. PCENG knew it was time to upgrade their offices and facilities, so they got in touch with Bishop & Hart. PCENG required a complete office upgrade, with a new layout to bring on new staff. To make things challenging, the age of the building meant there was minimal design documentation regarding the existing structure and materials used. Unfortunately, the building materials included asbestos and it had non-compliant electrical services.

Before beginning the office renovation, Bishop & Hart completed a safety inspection to identify hazards. The building’s electrical components were tested and disconnected and the level of asbestos and other materials was accessed. Our team then completed the challenging job of safely removing all of the asbestos from the building. Once the space was safe, necessary demolition works were completed. Bishop & Hart then completed a full remodel and fitout which included walls, flooring, building of components, and electrical work. The client received a fresh office space with much-needed upgraded amenities. The new layout meant PCENG was able to increase its growing staff base and expand the business. PCENG’s team were pleased with the works and further contracted Bishop & Hart to design a second level at the same address.
